Corn Gluten Directions and application

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

This product is designed for use on established turf grass and lawns as a natural pre-emergent herbicide and a slow release
fertilizer. It is important that the product is used on established lawns and plants only and is applied early enough to control
germinating weed seeds. The product is most effective when applied at a minimum of twice a year, in early spring and in the fall to
control germinating annual weeds. The product performs best when an extended drying period follows the initial watering after
application.

DO NOT use on grass that has been recently seeded as it may inhibit the germination of new seeds. This product may be applied
anytime after the first mowing on a newly seeded lawn.
Reseeding:
DO NOT reseed treated areas for a minimum of 6 weeks after a single application of 10-20 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.

Spring Application:
For crabgrass, dandelions and other spring germinating weeds, apply at the rate of 15 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. This product should be
applied one to two weeks prior to the anticipated germination of the annual weeds you wish to control. This timing will vary with the
geographical area. A good general rule is to apply the product when crocuses are blooming or when forsythia blooms drop.

Fall Application:
Many annual weeds such as dandelions germinate in the fall. To control fall germinating weeds, apply 15 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. in late
summer, when temperatures turn cooler.
For optimum performance this product should be watered in following application in order to activate. An extended drying period
following the initial watering makes this product most effective. If you use an automatic irrigation system, shut system down for
several days to allow surface soil to dry.

Flower Bed, Bulb, Rose, Garden and Shrub Application:
To control annual weeds in and around flowers, roses, bulbs and shrubs apply 20 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. by sprinkling evenly over the
soil surface. Product works best if it is scratched in or worked into the top 2 inches of soil. Apply water to soil to activate the product.
