Humate Concentrate

Humate Concentrate

Humate ConcentrateOur Liquid Humate concentrate contains vital elements for healthy soil in an easy to apply liquid form. Extracted from the richest deposits of ancient lakebeds this material is essentially peat moss that has decomposed for at least one million years. It provides a wealth of valuable plant elements, holds water in the soil, feeds the living organisms in the soil, and releases locked-up nutrients for plant growth.

Also Available in Dried 50Lb. Granular Leonardite 85% humic acids

Specifications For:
LC-12 Soluble Humic Acid Liquid

LC-12 is a liquid concentrate containing 12% sodium-potassium humic acids. It isa very stable and sediment free solution. LC-12 is also characterized with a pH close to neutral that promotes its very effective consumption during foliar application. It is easily assimilated by plants and some of its main functions include improving plant immunity, improving plant metabolism, improving plant root development, improving the supply of plant nutritional elements and increasing the formation of ferments. LC-12 promotes the
increased accumulation of chlorophyll, sugar, amino acids and more and improves the
efficiency of nitrogen utilization, allowing for reduced fertilizer rates.

One of the primary actions of LC-12 is to increase the plant's ability to withstand the stresses of heat, drought, cold, disease, insect and other types of environmental or cultural pressures. LC-12 also increases general plant productivity, in terms of yield, as well as plant stem strength. Within the soil, LC-12 stimulates soil microorganisms, promoting Humus formation. A very important benefit of LC-12 is that it has been specially
formulated to improve the fruit formation on agricultural plants by the enhancement of a special functional group within the humic acids. In fact, compared to competing liquid humic acids currently available, our LC-12 shows a 20%-30% increase in fruit formation.

Application rates:
Optimal Concentrate 1oz. LC-12 to 10 gallons of water, Please refer to the TeraVita LC-12 Usage Guide that is most relevant to what you are growing.TeraVita created these guides to empower each user with the knowledge needed to properly utilize our new humate products for the improvement of plants and soils. Although it may require repeated readings, taking the time to study the usage guide you need will provide you with the ability to increase your crop's health and performance and to reduce your overall input costs.

After Leonardites are processed and activated with our new technologies they become soluble and will significantly influence all of the components of the plant-water-soil system.  Once inside the plant, humic acids activate the metabolic process, leading to an acceleration of growth, the development of a powerful root system, and the formation of special enzymes.   This increases a plant's resistance to stress, and at the same time increases the accumulation of vitamins, sugars, protein, and chlorophyll in the plant.

Unlike other humate technologies, our new technology is able to convert the silica portion of raw lignite into soluble silicon, which is then available for plant nutrition.  With other processing technologies, the silica portion of the lignite is unable to be utilized and is discarded as waste.

Silicon is a vital component of cell walls.  Plants supplied with soluble silicon are able to produce stronger and thicker cell walls, in essence creating a “mechanical barrier” to piercing and sucking insects.  The thickened cell wall also allows the cell to regulate its internal temperature more effectively, which significantly enhances the plant’s tolerance to heat, frost, and drought stress.  Moreover, it has been found that plants are uniquely able to deposit silicon at the site of a fungal infection, thereby blocking or combating further penetration of the cell walls by the attacking fungus.  In addition, silicon in plants has been shown to improve leaf erectness, increase stem strength and aid in the prevention or depression of iron and manganese toxicity.

Through nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, we have proven that when our humate products are added to water at specific concentrations, the structure of the water becomes physically altered, taking on the structure commonly referred to as “melted water”.  In this highly structured state, water molecules can penetrate the plant leaves and stems much more efficiently.  This significantly improves the penetration of humic acids and any companion materials (fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) into the plant.

Activated humates can both improve and restore the structure of soil by creating beneficial conditions for the development of micro-organisms.  Our humate is also able to form assimilating complexes that transport micro-elements into plants.   All together, this leads to an increase in plant performance and a decrease in the dosages of fertilizers required to maintain the plant.

Plants show an especially strong reaction to humate in the beginning of their development.  Therefore, optimal results will be achieved by introducing humate to the plant in its seed or seedling stage and continuing its usage throughout the year.  The recommended amount of humate (see the appropriate guide) should be applied each season.  Please keep in mind that every situation is different.  Plants growing in excessively sandy, infertile, or “contaminated” soil will require the higher rates.  It is also important to note that the best results will be achieved by applying humate in several smaller-dose applications, not one large application.  To achieve all of the benefits of using humate it should be applied in three ways: seed treatment, foliar treatment, and soil treatment.
